Siri Veseth Meling

Siri Veseth Meling currently serves as Director of the Section for Public Law and Information Management at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a position held since September 2024. Previously, Siri Meling was the Secretary-General at EFTA from September 2022 to September 2024, after having served in various roles including Director and Deputy Director of the Section for EEA and trade law within the Legal affairs unit at the Utenriksdepartementet from November 2007 to September 2022. Prior experience includes positions as a Lawyer at Wikborg Rein from 2003 to 2007 and as a Higher Executive Officer at Konkurransetilsynet from September 2001 to October 2003. Siri Meling holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Oslo, earned between January 1996 and June 2001.
