Sunniva H. Abrahamsen

Sunniva H. Abrahamsen has extensive experience in political affairs within the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holding positions such as Senior Adviser and First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations. Prior roles include Second Secretary at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and Project Officer at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Guangzhou. Sunniva commenced a career as an Aspirant/Foreign Service Trainee, focusing on public diplomacy and East Asia. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Chinese Society and Politics from the University of Oslo, supplemented by courses in Chinese Studies at Tsinghua University and a Bachelor's in East Asian Studies from the University of Oslo. Additional education occurred at Fudan University and Peking University.
