Wasif Azim

Wasif Azim is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in production and quality control management. Currently serving as Deputy Manager - Production at Kompass Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. since February 2021, Wasif focuses on implementing Lean operating methods to enhance product quality and availability. Previously, Wasif held roles as Quality Control Team Lead and Deputy Manager - Lamination at the same company, where a strong emphasis was placed on robust quality systems and operational efficiency. Prior to this, Wasif was Head of Lamination and Slitting at Universal Packaging Company (Pvt.) Limited, managing a large team and production activities. Wasif began the career as a Process Engineer at Kompass Pakistan, overseeing preventative maintenance and job planning. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering Management in Industrial Management from NED University of Engineering and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology.
