Minna Pirkkanen

Minna Pirkkanen is an experienced leader in modernization strategy and product development, currently serving as Head of Modernization Offering at KONE since January 2022, focusing on customer value and global trends such as sustainability and digitalization. With a robust background at Sandvik from 2006 to 2022, Pirkkanen held various senior roles including Vice President of Product Line for the Parts and Services Division, where responsibilities included founding a new organization and developing customer-centric strategies. Additional experience encompasses strategic integration, product management, and R&D in multiple divisions. Pirkkanen's academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, an Executive Management Program from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a Certificate of Business Competence from Turku School of Economics, among others.
