Radu Crican

Radu Crican is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in data processing, cloud architecture, and microservices development. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at KONUX since July 2021, Radu focuses on designing AI-driven railway maintenance systems and developing ETL pipelines using Apache Spark, PySpark, and AWS. Prior to KONUX, Radu worked at Workday as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in Scala and the Akka Framework within a microservices environment. Radu's career also includes significant roles at AutoScout24, where full stack and DevOps skills were applied, as well as software development positions at accesa.eu and Macadamian Technologies, working with .NET and Java technologies. Radu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
