Vinayak Srimal

Vinayak Srimal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cyber and technology risk management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank since May 2023, Vinayak leads the Cyber and Technology Risk Management vertical, focusing on the assessment of cyber and technology risks related to new technologies and applications. Previously, Vinayak dedicated over a decade to the Indian Navy, culminating in the role of Director Information Systems & Security at HQ Western Naval Command, where Vinayak oversaw IT governance and compliance for over 350 units. With a strong background in information technology governance and systems integration, Vinayak has contributed to various strategic initiatives, including working alongside Indian Space Research Organisation and spearheading significant indigenisation efforts within the Navy. Vinayak holds a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Post Graduate Diploma from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, and a Bachelor of Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
