Jurell David Sukdeo

Jurell David Sukdeo is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Vice President in the corporate finance division (M&A) at KPMG Canada since June 2024. Prior to this role, Jurell held the position of Assistant Vice President in the M&A team at Absa Group from June 2022 to December 2023 and was responsible for corporate finance and strategic investments at Nashua LTD from April 2021 to May 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Associate in the corporate finance division at PwC South Africa, Management Consultant at Mazars South Africa, and Corporate Finance Analyst at Milost Advisors Inc. Jurell began the finance career as an Intern Analyst at STANLIB and also interned at Monitor Deloitte and Deloitte South Africa. Jurell has been involved in academia as an Academic Tutor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is pursuing additional certifications from the CFA Institute, Corporate Finance Institute, and CAIA Association. Jurell holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Business Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
