Chris Simpson

Chris Simpson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as a New Board Member of Minnesota Independence College and Community (MICC) since July 2024, Chris previously held significant positions such as President and CEO of Wenger Corporation from October 2011 to February 2023, where responsibilities included vision, leadership, and management of the company. Chris also contributed to Kreg Tool Company and Pella Corporation as a Member of the Board of Directors, and demonstrated strategic acumen in sales and marketing as Senior Vice President at Pella. Earlier career foundations were built at Whirlpool Corporation, where a progressive trajectory included eleven different positions over thirteen years, culminating as the Whirlpool Brand General Manager. Chris holds an MBA with a marketing concentration from the University of Michigan and a BS in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
