Azzam Alsudais

Azzam Alsudais, PhD, currently serves as the Dean of Digital Transformation (CIO) at Prince Sultan University since August 2023, where responsibilities include developing and executing a university-wide digital transformation strategy. Azzam has held an Assistant Professor position at King Saud University since December 2011, conducting research in network management, cloud systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and middleware systems. Azzam also served as Deputy CIO at King Saud University, overseeing software development and project management teams, and has extensive industry experience, including a role as a Research Collaborator at AT&T Labs, leading projects in cloud and network management. Azzam holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree from King Saud University.
