Alessandra Cesano

Alessandra is a seasoned industry executive with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the development of biotech companies and has been ESSA’s Chief Medical Officer since 2019.

Throughout her career, Dr. Cesano has held various management positions at Amgen, Biogen Idec, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals and NanoString where she helped advance various oncology drugs through late-stage development and FDA approvals.
