Karl Gernandt

Karl Gernandt is the Vice Chairman at Kuehne + Nagel. Karl has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry.

Karl started their career at Software AG in 1989 where they spent 7 years as the Head of Professional Services. In 1996, they moved to ADP ES Germany as the R&D Manager. Karl spent 4 years there before moving to Dresdner Bank AG in 2000 as the Head of International Systems. In 2002, they joined DHL as the CIO of Express Europe and spent 3 years there.

In 2005, Karl joined Kuehne + Nagel as the Vice Chairman. Under their leadership, the company has become one of the largest logistics providers in the world.
