Mike Black

Mike Black is the current director at KWI. Mike has also previously worked as vice president of business development-americas at sky-futures, senior account manager-north america at petrolink, business development manager-consultant at inquest, inc., and global business development at oes oilfield services group. Mike Black began their professional career in 2003 as food and beverage director at american golf corporation.

Mike Black has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mike has also completed coursework in Basics of Energy Sustainability from Rice University and Field: Engineering Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition, they have received certificates of training in Right of Way in the Energy Industry and Steps and Stages of Projects in Right of Way from University of Houston-Downtown. Mike Black is also a Level Two- Certified Sommelier from Court of Master Sommeliers. Furthermore, they have completed course work in Petroleum Engineering- for the Non Engineer and Petroleum Geology for the Non Geologist from University of Tulsa. Lastly, Mike Black has received certification from Baker Communications, Inc. in Exceptional Presentations and from Rockhurst University in Business Grammar & Proofreading.
