Marga Lopez

Marga Lopez, CDP, is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership and education. Currently serving as the National Past President and previously as the National President of Design Professionals of Canada (DesCan) since June 2022, Marga also owns M/L Design since January 2010. Marga maintains positions as a faculty member at The Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, School of Business. Prior professional roles include Senior Production Designer at Dossier, Program Manager of Design and Director of Design at Vancouver Aquarium, and Lead Designer at Latitude Agency Vancouver. Marga holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Intercontinental and completed further education at BrainStation in 2015.
