Tony H. is an accomplished engineering and product design leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Director of Mechanical Systems at Kymeta Corporation since February 2023, Tony previously held the position of Product Design Engineering Manager at Meta, where responsibilities included cultivating diverse teams and optimizing product development processes for consumer VR products. Prior to that, Tony was Director of Mechanical Engineering at Microsoft, successfully leading teams to launch key products like the Surface Studio and Surface Pro while co-authoring 12 patents. At Nokia, Tony specialized in mechanics and materials, spearheading innovative material solutions for mobile devices and developing a virtual build process that significantly reduced costs. Tony began career as a Research Engineer at Mattson Technology and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia.
