Michael Sobetzko

Michael Sobetzko is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, quality assurance, and operations support within the healthcare industry. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Risk Management and Operations Support at L.A. Care Health Plan since June 2022, Michael previously held the position of VP of Quality Oversight and Vendor Management at Health Net, a Centene Company, where responsibilities included managing vendor risk and performance. Over a career at Health Net spanning nearly two decades, Michael established payment integrity programs, optimized operations across multiple states, and directed significant budgets. Earlier experience includes roles at CIGNA, where Michael managed technology initiatives in the Western Region. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from California State University, Northridge.
