Xavier de Buysscher

Xavier De Buysscher currently serves as VP Operations at La Lorraine Bakery Group NV, focusing on frozen bakery operations since May 2024. In addition, Xavier holds a board member position at Fevia, representing the Belgian food industry since November 2022. Previously, from November 2014 to April 2024, Xavier was Vice President Operations and Supply Chain for Barry Callebaut Group, where responsibilities included leading operations across the EMEA region and enhancing operational excellence. Xavier also held several key roles within Barry Callebaut, such as Vice President Quality Assurance & Food Safety EMEA and Plant Director at the largest chocolate factory globally. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Mars, overseeing various aspects of the food supply chain, as well as a tenure at General Motors in maintenance and engineering roles. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering from Hogeschool Antwerpen and advanced leadership training from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
