Gioele Leone

Gioele Leone currently serves as a Guest Relations Assistant at La Marzocco, contributing to the hospitality team for international and Italian guests at the Accademia del Caffè Espresso in Florence since October 2021. Gioele completed a student internship in Cancer Research at the Experimental and Clinical Biomedical Sciences “Mario Serio” from March to July 2023, focusing on point mutations in the ERK5 protein sequence and their impact on malignant cancer cell behavior. Previously, Gioele worked as a Specialist Mentor for Regione Toscana from March to October 2022, supporting young individuals with Down syndrome and autism in developing autonomy and life skills. At Tsinghua University, from August 2019 to July 2020, Gioele held the position of Head of Department in the Student Union. Educational qualifications include a Single Cycle Degree in Medicine and Surgery from Università degli Studi di Firenze, a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, and a background in International Affairs and Economics from Liceo Linguistico Alessandro Manzoni.
