Laura Lucchini

Laura Lucchini is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various roles within the media industry. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Foreign Desk at La Repubblica since May 2022, Laura has previously co-founded the Ruptly Verification Unit and held multiple positions at Ruptly, including Head of Newsroom. Laura's career also includes roles as a freelance correspondent for prominent outlets like Linkiesta, Deutsche Welle, S. A. La Nacion, and El Pais. Laura earned a Master of Journalism from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a degree in Scienze Umanistiche per la Comunicazione from Università degli Studi di Milano.
