Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, initially serving as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and various educational devices. Prior to this, Chris worked as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris's early career includes a role as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities included circuit design and software development for control systems in the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
