Kristina Oberg

Kristina Oberg is an experienced professional in community recreation and cultural management, currently serving as the Community Recreation Supervisor for Lac La Biche County since September 2019. Prior to this role, Kristina operated as a consultant from May 2015 to September 2019, and held various managerial positions at The City of Victoria and The City of Red Deer, where responsibilities included overseeing culture, sport, and neighbourhood programs. Early career experience includes a role as Public Education Coordinator with the Canadian Red Cross. Kristina holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Organization and Leadership, Community Studies from Athabasca University, alongside a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Social Studies from the University of Alberta and a Certificate in Cultural Planning from The University of British Columbia.
