Cansu Akarsu

Cansu Akarsu currently serves as the Vice President of Healthcare Education at Laerdal Medical, leading initiatives for competency-based education and enhancing healthcare performance to save lives. Cansu has held multiple leadership roles within Laerdal Medical, including Vice President of Healthcare Education and Quality Improvement, and has a strong background in design, exemplified by previous roles such as Design Manager and Industrial Designer. Cansu has also contributed to the Happy Baby Association as a Board Member and Lead Designer, focusing on ergonomic baby carrying solutions in low-income countries. Additional experience includes working as a Community Prototyper at OpenIDEO and various internships in industrial design. Cansu holds an Executive MBA from BI Norwegian Business School and multiple degrees in Industrial Design from prestigious institutions.
