Erik Baker

Erik Baker is a seasoned professional in the fields of theatre, film, and education, currently serving as the Head of the Theatre Department at Lake Tahoe Community College since September 2022, where responsibilities include directing an annual production and teaching Film Appreciation and Acting I & II. As the Creative Producer and Founder of 4th Wall Down, LLC, since February 2011, Erik focuses on project conceptualization, head writing, and enhancing online presence for profitable entertainment properties. Erik also has a background as a freelance writer for Rikpo, achieving recognition with a Jury and Voter award for a script. Additional experience includes officiating ice hockey at the Level 4 certification with USA Hockey, holding senior positions at AMC Networks and Comedy Central / MTV Viacom, and teaching fitness and nutrition to young students at FAN4Kids. Erik's educational background includes multiple screenwriting certifications from ScreenwritingU, a B.S. from Kettering University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Kent State University, complemented by improvisation training at Second City.
