Parinaz Hafezisefat

Parinaz Hafezisefat, Ph.D., currently serves as a Process Engineer III in MSAT at Teknova since July 2022 and has been a Graduate Research Assistant at the Bioeconomy Institute, Iowa State University since August 2017. Key achievements include developing novel methods for converting biorefinery wastes into valuable chemicals, optimizing biomass pretreatment processes, and conducting statistical analyses to enhance biofuel production. Parinaz has mentored undergraduate students, collaborated extensively within research groups, and contributed to safety oversight in laboratories. Previous positions include serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Isfahan University of Technology, where significant work was done on heat transfer enhancement. Parinaz holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology and the University of Isfahan.
