Mordecai Ian Brownlee

Dr. Mordecai Brownlee currently serves as the President of the Community College of Aurora and holds the position of Higher Education Columnist for Diverse: Issues In Higher Education. With experience as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business & Leadership at the University of Charleston, Dr. Brownlee previously contributed as a Higher Education Columnist for EdSurge. An accomplished academic, Dr. Brownlee earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University, an Advanced Certificate in Community College Leadership from Dallas Baptist University, as well as both a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication & Political Science from Houston Christian University.
