Helgi David Bjornsson

Helgi David Bjornsson is an experienced ophthalmologist currently serving at Landspitali University Hospital and Sjónlag since October and September 2019, respectively. Prior roles include visiting specialist in ophthalmology at Volvat-ORBITA and Vestre Viken HF, and head of the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Division at Oslo University Hospital from March 2018 to September 2019. Helgi completed residency in ophthalmology at Oslo universitetssykehus HF and held a brief residency in neurology at Sykehuset i Vestfold. Medical training was completed with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Debreceni Egyetem between 2003 and 2010.
