Christy Cameron

Christy Cameron possesses extensive experience in retail management and workforce development. Currently serving as an Employment Specialist at Lane County Government since July 2022, Christy coordinates the WIOA On-the-Job training program and teaches workshops on essential skills for career seekers. Prior to this role, Christy managed operations at See's Candies for over eight years, enhancing customer service and building clientele. Christy also held the position of Store Manager and GIFT Program Coordinator at The Duck Store, where responsibilities included operational management and collaboration with buying and administrative teams. Earlier career highlights include roles at See's Candies and Barnes & Noble, where Christy demonstrated strong leadership and retail acumen. Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from the University of Oregon and a high school diploma from South Eugene High School.
