Lonnie Thompson

Lonnie Thompson is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at Lankford | Fendler + Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc., where responsibilities include the design of electrical systems for building construction since September 2022. Previously, Thompson worked at BC Engineers, Inc. from August 2017 to September 2022, focusing on electrical systems design for a variety of facilities, including medical clinics and industrial sites, along with developing permit drawings and design-build solutions. Prior to this, Thompson held the position of Electrical Engineer II at the University of Missouri, contributing to electrical designs for capital improvement projects from February 2014 to August 2017. Thompson's extensive career also includes a long tenure at the State of Missouri's Office of Administration from October 1984 to February 2014, serving as Senior Project Manager and managing energy savings performance contracts for a significant portion of state-owned buildings. Educational qualifications include a BSEE and BSCompE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with additional coursework in Mechanical Engineering.
