Jodee Peterson

Jodee Peterson is currently the Manager at Larson Gross. Prior to that, they were the Controller at Alegria & Company, P.S. from December 2019 to September 2021. Before that, they were the Accounting/HR Manager at Alliant Communications from February 2010 to December 2019.

In their role as Accounting/HR Manager, Jodee was responsible for ensuring consistent, accurate account entry and reporting by managing Accounting processes and systems. Jodee also processed bi-weekly payroll for 25 exempt/non-exempt employees in compliance with all state and federal laws; conducted quarter and year-end payroll closing, including federal/state reports and statistic management. In addition, Jodee cultivated and refined Finance/Accounting team skills by developing training programs; conducted skills gap analysis and tailored training to individual employee needs with flexible completion timeline parameters.

Jodee was also a key contributor to the execution of new ERP CW software for day-to- day business projects and services. Jodee established accounts to create General Ledger mappings for application to invoices, expenses and procurement for posting to integrated accounting package (QuickBooks). As the Accounting/HR Manager, Jodee delivered Human Resources Leadership to department managers on matters relating to Recruitment, Payroll processing, Benefits Administration, Worker’s Compensation, Employee Relations, Onboarding/terminations. Jodee also consulted, coached and influenced executives and all levels of management on critical/complex employee relations: conflict resolution, performance management, written disciplinary actions, PIPs (performance improvement plans), investigations, sexual harassment and hostile work environment complaints. Lastly, they administered benefit programs, including Open Enrollment and annual new plan evaluation/negotiation; claims resolution; change reporting; carrier invoice review/approval, communication protocols and cash flow.

Jodee Peterson has a professional accounting degree from Trend Business College. Jodee is certified from SHRM in SHRM-CP.
