Genaro Galvez

Since 1998, Genaro Galvez has been working in human resources, starting as an elementary school teacher in the Hueneme School District. From 2005 to 2016, Galvez worked at LPL Financial as an HR business partner and team manager. In this role, Galvez was responsible for leading instructional design, performance development, and leadership development initiatives. As a result of Galvez's work, the organization's employee engagement score was the highest in the Operations Clearing Division in 2014, 2015, and 2016. In their current role as board secretary at LatinaGeeks, Galvez is responsible for the organization's administrative functions and overseeing its educational programs.

Genaro Galvez has a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California in Educational Leadership, a Master of Education from the University of Southern California in Learning Design and Technology, and a Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management from San Diego State University. Genaro also has a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from San Diego State University. Genaro Galvez is also certified from FINRA in Series 99.
