Anna Southall

Anna Southall has a solid background in engineering, specializing in renewable energy and aerodynamics. Currently serving as a Test Engineer - Blades and previously as Academic Engagement Manager at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult since January 2020, Anna's expertise includes performance testing acquired during tenure as a Performance Test Engineer at EMEC: The European Marine Energy Centre from September 2017 to January 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as an Aerodynamics/Thermodynamics Engineer at GE Power and Alstom Power, and as a Turbine Engineer and Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Centrica Energy. Anna's academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Aerospace and Aerothermal Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh.
