Sidney K. Ayabe

Sidney K. Ayabe has been a trustee at Lawrence University since July 2014. Prior to that, they were a member of the Board of Directors at Fairfield County's Community Foundation from July 2013 to July 2020, where they served as Board Chair and Vice Chair. Sidney was also a member of the Executive Committee and the Governance Committee (Chair), and Strategic Planning Committee (Chair). Sidney was involved in the Foundation's rebranding effort as a key advisor.

From September 2010 to August 2013, Sidney was Corporate Officer and Group President, Calvin Klein Underwear Global & Heritage Brands at Warnaco, Inc., where they were responsible for global Calvin Klein Underwear, Calvin Klein Swimwear, and the Heritage Brands (Speedo, Chaps and Core Intimates Division). Sidney delivered 8% CAGR and financial performance above corporate average on all businesses, and reported to the CEO. Sidney was also highly involved with the Board of Directors.

From January 2004 to December 2010, Sidney was President of U.S. Intimates at Warnaco, Inc.

Sidney is also a Visiting Professor in Fashion and Fashion Business at NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study.

Sidney K. Ayabe attended Lawrence University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics. They then attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Marketing.
