Darren Pepper

Darren Pepper is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud computing and DevOps. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Cloud Team Lead at Layer 6 AI since June 2020, Darren leads the transition of on-premise environments to Azure, emphasizing the implementation of robust CI/CD practices and optimizing infrastructure for AI platforms. Previously, at IBM from July 2015 to June 2020, Darren held the roles of Staff Software Developer and DevOps Team Lead for IBM DB2 Event Store, where notable achievements included successful product launches across multiple platforms. Darren began the career as a Software Developer for IBM's Project EventStore, focusing on a database solution for real-time data analytics. Educationally, Darren holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Computer Science and Information Security from the University of Toronto, completed in 2015.
