Amiram Shachar

Amiram Shachar is a seasoned technology executive, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Upwind Security since September 2022. Previously, Shachar held the position of Vice President and General Manager for Spot by NetApp from July 2020 to August 2022, following the founding and leadership of Spot.io as CEO from June 2015 to July 2020, where Shachar developed solutions for optimizing cloud deployments across major platforms, achieving significant cost reductions and automated management. Earlier experience includes a role as Director of Development Operations at Ybrant Digital from December 2012 to December 2014, overseeing cloud architecture and global teams, and serving as Team Leader for the Linux Kernel at Mamram from March 2008 to December 2012. Amiram Shachar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies, earned between 2011 and 2014.
