Cory Itzen

Cory Itzen is a software engineer with extensive experience in developing applications using a variety of technologies. Currently employed at Leafly since August 2019, Cory specializes in NodeJS, Typescript, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, NextJS, Redis, Datadog, Mongo, AWS, and Python. Prior to Leafly, Cory worked at Spreetail as a software engineer from February 2018 to August 2019, contributing to an e-commerce marketplace and utilizing NodeJS, Mongo, ElasticSearch, and Redis. Earlier roles include software engineering positions at Spreetail, Higher Learning Technologies, and Rockwell Collins, with a foundational internship in Android development and a co-op focused on software engineering. Cory holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 2017.
