Sharad Kumar

Sharad Kumar is a Project Manager with experience in business development and research. Sharad currently works for Leap Finance, and previously worked for Embibe and OYO.

Sharad Kumar began their career as a Business Development Intern at OYO in May 2017. Sharad was responsible for conducting market research, identifying potential customers, and creating sales proposals. In June 2018, they were promoted to Project Manager. In this role, they oversaw operations, led a team of 82 designers, and implemented processes that increased productivity by 30%. Sharad also created a framework for internal digital asset management and ingested 20,000+ existing assets.

Prior to working at OYO, Sharad Kumar interned at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in May 2016. Sharad conducted research and published papers on various topics related to electrical engineering. Sharad also served as the Hall President of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall of Residence IIT Kharagpur from January 2016 to December 2017.
