Laura Beder

Laura Beder, LCSW, has extensive experience as a School Social Worker, currently serving at LEARN Charter School Network since August 2014. Prior roles include social work positions at Clinical Connection, where responsibilities involved planning activities to promote social skills in children with special needs and providing guidance for teens. Laura has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized programs based on IEP goals and has supervised interns and paraprofessionals. Education includes a Master’s degree in Clinical School Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Laura's commitment to fostering social-emotional development and advocating for at-risk youth is evident throughout various professional and volunteer experiences.
