Frank J. Coyne

Frank J. Coyne joined the UL Board of Directors in 2009, where he contributes his many years of experience as an attorney and business executive. With his deep expertise in the insurance industry, Frank provides UL with valuable guidance on legal and human resources matters as well as his overall business acumen.

Frank joined Insurance Services Office (ISO) as president and chief operating officer (COO), was elected president and chief executive officer (CEO) in 2000, and became chairman two years later. He spearheaded ISO’s acquisition of more than 20 companies, fortifying the company’s capabilities. In 2008, Frank led the initiative that created Verisk Analytics as the parent of ISO and its family of companies.
