Otón Ignacio Peñuelas

Otón Ignacio Peñuelas is an experienced engineer specializing in automotive and electrical engineering with a strong focus on battery systems and powertrains. Currently serving as a Validation Engineer at Leclanché SA, Peñuelas manages the validation of electric vehicle battery systems according to IEC and UN ECE regulations. Previous roles include Application System Engineer and Electrical Engineer, where Peñuelas collaborated with clients on product adaptations and validated electric harnesses for lithium-ion batteries. Peñuelas also worked as a Powertrain Engineer at INSIA and held various positions at UPM Racing, contributing to project management and vehicle dynamics.
