Pam Johnson is an experienced cultural leader with a robust background in dance and arts management. Currently serving as Head of Culture Programmes at Leeds City Council since March 2019, Pam previously held the position of Principal Officer Culture and Sport. Prior to that, Pam spent nearly six years as Senior Relationship Manager (Strategic Partnerships) at Arts Council England, following a decade-long tenure in various roles, including Relationship Manager and Arts Officer (Dance) at the same organization. Pam's career also includes significant contributions to the UK Dance Network and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, where Pam led initiatives to enhance participation in dance. Additionally, Pam developed dance education programs with Kokuma Dance Theatre Company and enjoyed a notable career as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher with Phoenix Dance Company.
