Darren Chiu

Darren Chiu is an experienced operations leader currently serving as the Head of Operations at ALTER since September 2021, focusing on secure data transfer using advanced cryptographic models on the blockchain. Previously, Darren held the position of Lead of Education at IGC Secret Network, a decentralized blockchain dedicated to privacy-first technologies. Darren has a strong background at EY, where as a Manager, transformative technology solutions were leveraged for Fortune 500 clients. Additional experience includes significant contributions to supply chain operations at PepsiCo, where a Lean Six Sigma project notably enhanced productivity, and as an Industrial Engineer at Asco Sintering, proposing cost-effective water treatment solutions. Earlier roles involved research assistance in cardiology projects, contributing to impactful health-related initiatives. Darren Chiu holds a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a focus on Operations Management from the University of Southern California.
