Charles Claxton, Jr.

Charles earned All-SEC Freshman Team honors and later earned All-SEC honors in 1993. Charles eventually entered the NBA Draft and was picked in the 2nd Round by the Phoenix Suns. After playing sparingly in the NBA, Charles eventually went on to pursue a career playing basketball overseas. He played professionally in Honduras, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Lithuania, Poland and England. In 2001, Charles hung up his basketball shoes and decided to enter the business world. That’s when CNC Delivery Service was born and he has been successfully growing his business serving the Upstate of Greenville, SC and surrounding areas for nearly 20 years.

Charles has also been very active serving and mentoring the youth in Greenville through his involvement in AAU Basketball in the community by serving as an Administrator for Team South Carolina, formerly S.C. Raptors Elite, which is one of the largest youth basketball organizations in this area for several years while also serving as a coach in the organization. Charles currently serves as a consultant for the organization.

Charles has served as President of the Booster Club at Legacy Early College since its inception nearly 4 years ago volunteering countless hours raising money for the athletic Dept. mainly by ensuring that the concessions area is running smoothly and efficiently as this has been one of the athletic departments’ most successful methods of raising funds.

Charles’ hobbies include traveling around to watch his children play in their collegiate and NBA basketball games, beautifying his yard, and watching action movies.
