Eric Sternberg

Eric Sternberg is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in tax law and consumer advocacy. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Consumer Practice Group at Legal Aid Chicago since February 2022, Eric previously held roles as a Staff Tax Attorney at Washington Tax Services and a Tax Expert at Intuit. Notably, Eric directed the Tax Clinic at Ladder Up Chicago, managing operations, overseeing grant applications, and representing clients in tax controversies. Eric's legal journey began with a student internship at the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent's Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and included a judicial externship with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Eric holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Miami.
