Lija Siliunas

Lija Siliunas is a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Chicago, serving since June 2020, and has previous experience as a Law Clerk at the Berkeley Law Death Penalty Clinic, The Bronx Defenders, Homeless Action Center, and Contra Costa County Office of the Public Defender. Lija also worked as an Information Systems Manager for the Juvenile Justice Initiative and held various roles at Saint Louis University, including Lead Resident Advisor, Citizenship Literacy Instructor, Writing Consultant, and Research Assistant. Lija holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in Public Interest Law from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and Computer Science from Saint Louis University.
