Our philosophy and approach is what has set us apart from other camps since 1989, resulting in children have reduced anxiety and increased self-confidence, which leads to more fun and better performance.

By living out our values, our high-functioning teams accept nothing less than constant improvement. We believe the way we work together is just as important as the work itself, which is why we infuse our days with the same joy and wonder that our campers experience. From our executive team to our seasonal coaches, we believe that WE are Legarza, and take that responsibility seriously. United by a shared dedication to our cause to provide youth with the knowledge and motivation they need to achieve their personal best in sport and life.

Our core business is summer programs, with over 200,000 children attending our basketball, volleyball and all-sports camps. But that is not all we provide for the community: seasonal leagues, sport specific skills training, after school classes, physical education, athletic director services, and lunchtime wellness programs just to name a few. Possibilities are endless as we plan to continue to branch out into anything that fits into our mission of developing people.

While business savvy and eager to grow we are committed to giving back. We have have generated over $5 Million for local schools and give away over $200,000 in scholarships each year. We promise to provide a quality service that everyone in the community can afford and benefit from. In our 27 year history we have never turned anyone away for financial reasons.

We're a team of inspired, creative and fun professionals with diverse backgrounds. Quality of life is important to us...  this is as far from a corporate pressure-cooker as you can imagine, but that doesn't mean we don't take our business seriously. While we have locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area our main office in San Carlos, CA.

The Program Management Team at Legarza Sports and More is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the diverse array of youth development programs, including basketball, volleyball, and all-sports camps, as well as seasonal leagues, after-school classes, and wellness programs. They ensure the seamless execution of daily operations, maintain high-quality standards, and innovate continually to enhance program offerings. The team collaborates closely to uphold the company's mission of developing youth through play and expanding opportunities for community engagement and growth.
