Rizwan Qayyum

Rizwan Qayyum is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in the coal industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Lehigh Anthracite Coal since January 2022, Rizwan previously held similar positions at Alpha Natural Resources from July 2012 to April 2022, and at Patriot Coal Company as a Surface Mine Engineer from October 2008 to August 2012. Rizwan began the career as a Production and Environmental Engineer at Massey Energy from August 2004 to September 2008. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University, attained between 2001 and 2003, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, completed from 1992 to 1997.
