Vivian Tan

Vivian Tan, MD, has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving in Scientific and Medical Affairs at Leica Biosystems since October 2021. Prior to this role, Vivian held the position of Clinical Pathology Director and Head of Pathology Quality Assurance at Exact Sciences from February 2010 to October 2021. Earlier career highlights include working as a Clinical Research Associate at UCSF in the Department of Medicine, Hematology and Oncology, and serving as a Pathologist at San Francisco VA Medical Center. Vivian also completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at UCSF in the Departments of Pathology and Transplant Surgery, in addition to experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UCSF. Educational credentials include an MD from Drexel University College of Medicine and a BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, complemented by residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at UC San Diego.
