Pieter Gideonse

Pieter Gideonse is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at Lely since November 2019, overseeing a team of 13 full-time employees and supporting the manufacturing processes of barn and feeding robots. Prior experience at Lely includes a graduate internship focused on optimizing the configuration of an automated dairy factory, utilizing advanced simulation techniques. Pieter has held various engineering roles at HAAKS Engineering and Delft Offshore Turbine B.V., including managing the MicroDOT project, and contributing to wind turbine engineering, CAD modeling, and construction preparations. Additional experience includes positions at Foodmate B.V. and Rubber Design, along with leadership roles at the Students Association Mechanical Engineering Impuls. Pieter holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool.
