Kiran Aware

Kiran Aware is an experienced leader in credit strategy and analytics, currently serving as SVP and Head of Credit Strategy & Pricing at LendingClub since May 2021, where oversight includes personal loans, POS medical financing, and auto refinance among other products. Previously, Kiran held the position of SVP in Credit Strategy & Analytics at Wells Fargo, leading a team of over 50 in credit risk management for the credit card business. Kiran's tenure at HSBC includes roles as SVP of Retail Credit Strategy and Portfolio Management for Latin America, directing an $8+ billion credit transformation program, along with prior credit risk management roles. Earlier experience includes strategic positions at Capital One, GE Capital, and an engineering role at Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. Kiran holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering Pune.
