Nigel Alcorn

Nigel Alcorn is an experienced designer specializing in hardware/software concepts and user experience design, currently holding the position of HW/SW Concept and UX Designer at Lenovo since June 2022. Previously, Nigel worked as an Industrial Designer at Peloton Interactive from November 2015 to February 2022, contributing significantly to multiple product launches and overseeing the complete product development cycle. Prior roles include Product Manager and UX and Industrial Designer at MakerBot®, where skills in 3D printing and web design were honed, and Design Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where classroom visual stimuli were analyzed. Nigel initiated a career with an internship at Tanaka Kapec Design Group, Inc., focusing on the design and testing of surgical tools. Education was completed at Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design.
