Robert Burrus

Robert Burrus is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing at Civica Rx since September 2022. With a focus on reducing drug shortages and ensuring affordability, Civica Rx is dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, including Associate Director and Sr. Manager of Drug Substance Manufacturing, overseeing manufacturing processes for drug substances in clinical trials. Robert's experience also includes significant roles at Merck, Retrophin, Bioserv Corporation, Sangart, and Qualigen Inc., where responsibilities ranged from managing operations and contract manufacturing to overseeing production processes.
